One of the finest Condrieu out there is unquestionably the Vignes de Jacques Vernay, which shouldn?t be confused with Georges Vernay. Coming all from the La Combe lieu-dit and very old vines, the 2015 Condrieu les Vignes de Jacques Vernay dishes up a heavenly bouquet of tangerines, flower blossoms, honeysuckle, buttered peach and ample minerality as well as full-bodied richness, vibrant acidity and purity, and a sensational finish. Give bottles 6-12 months and enjoy over the following 4-5 years. Drink 2017-2022.
