Dear Sir, first of all, thank you for your trust and for taking the time to share your opinion with us. We're sorry that you didn't like this vintage as much as we did. We would have been delighted if you had contacted us for advice before placing your order, and we would have steered you towards a cuvée that was less "coated", less long "aged in barrels", and no doubt from another vintage or another winemaker, or even another appellation. This cuvée from X. Weisskopf is his cuvée de garde, its acidity masked by its youthful ageing. We hope that, with a little time, you'll come to appreciate its complexity. What's more, we have to admit that 2019 is a rather atypical vintage, relatively warm and rich, so it's unfortunately not the most acidic in our stock, if that's what you're primarily looking for in a Chenin from the region.
