The classic Domaine Combier, 80% marsanne and 20% roussanne. An ideal blend for Laurent: "I wanted a wine for the table. The exuberance of the marsanne is tempered by the minerality of the roussanne. The richness harmonizes with the straightness."
Village: Pont de l’Isère, Gervans, Serves sur Rhône
Exposure: Plain - altitude 90 to 120m
Terroir: Clay-limestone plateau and Loess (slightly sandy decomposed granite). 30-year-old vines / Organic farming for 30 years
Grapes: 80% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne
Yield: 40 to 45 hectoliters / ha
Harvest: Manual harvest with sorting
Vinification: Pneumatic pressing. Fermentation in Burgundy barrels of 4 to 8 years.
Aging: 8 to 10 months in stainless steel tanks
