We were impressed by the freshness of this cuvée "out of the ordinary," almost exotic. Jean Esprit wanted to pay tribute to the grape variety rolle, which reminds him of his years of training in the south of France, in Provence. He attempted a small planting of this grape variety also known as vermentino (until the Sardinians managed to have the use of this word banned in France). We were thrilled. What a success!

The pont de la déesse is a ruin located on the domaine, around which Jean Esprit has planted his rolle.
Freshness, tension, and exoticism characterize this cuvée that tells a legend.
Grape variety: 100% rolle (vermentino)
Terroir: Ancient beds of the Isère composed of calcareous alluvial soils in the village of Pont de l’Isère.
Vinification / Aging: Direct pressing with fermentation and aging in amphora for several months.
Cellaring potential: Up to 5 years.
Tasting: Fine, fruity, and fresh palate with notes of citrus and apricot.
Food pairings: Parsley knives, wolf papillotes with fennel, fresh goat cheese with olive oil.
Sommelier's advice: Serving temperature at 8-10°C.
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
