Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Luis Gutiérrez - avril 2021) : 91/100. I liked the bottled 2018 Arbois Chardonnay better than the unbottled sample I tasted last time. It's a neatly made Chardonnay with some toasty and spicy notes, a little creamy, nicely textured, more Burgundian that most examples from Jura. The wine is tasty and finished with a salty note, with integrated oak and the signature of a fine winemaking team. Drink date 2021-2024.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Luis Gutiérrez - juin 2019) : 88-89/100. I tasted the 2018 Arbois Chardonnay from a very old foudre they purchased from Puffeney that was built in the 19th century and had been used for wine and beer before. However, the wine is a bit smoky and flinty and a little blurry but with more Burgundy than Jura character. Drink date 2020-2024.
