Domaine du Mortier Viré-Clessé "fûts de chêne dry white 2023

Here is a Viré-Clessé with a subtle nose of citrus and yellow fruits, slightly vanilla from its oak aging. A lively yet not aggressive attack, which rounds out perfectly on the palate with beautiful complexity and aromatic persistence typical of a good chardonnay, thanks to 9 months of oak barrel aging. With the freshness of its understated aging, it is already wonderful in 2023, but will be even more complete in 2024!

This is the prestige cuvée (thus for aging) of the domaine. Initially produced out of personal interest for a few historical regulars and many neighbors "in the know", not to mention family, especially a brother for whom cooking is the main focus of the home!
