A fresh and subtle blend of exotic fruits and indulgence.

Grape variety : 100% Chenin

Terroir : Vineyard parcel located in the municipality of Mozé-sur-Louet, on a terroir of volcanic rocks: rhyolites and phtanites. These vines are in conversion to Organic Farming: mechanical soil maintenance, respect for biodiversity, and careful consideration of each passage in the vines.

Vinification and aging: Grapes hand-harvested at over-ripeness with 3 passes (on October 6, 10, and 18, 2022) and selection of passerillé grapes on the vine. Gentle pressing of the berries followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts over several weeks. 6 months of aging on fine lees. Bottled in spring 2023.

Sensory discovery : The color is golden yellow with brilliant reflections and great crystalline clarity. The nose is pleasant with an impression of freshness. The aromatic expression revolves around white and exotic fruits. On the palate, the attack is soft and lively, with a very nice taste balance, featuring notes of passion fruit, roasted pineapple, and mango. A long and fresh finish.

Gourmet pairings : Foie gras; duck; blue cheeses, tarts with white or exotic fruits.

Serving: 5-6°C

Aging potential: 2 to 5 years but is perfect for tasting now (2024).
