Terroir: clay-limestone.

Yield: from 18 to 22 hl/ha.

Destemmed grapes since the 1996 vintage.

Fermentation : from 70 to 90 days depending on the vintage. Punching down.

Aging : 36 months, including 24 months in barrels for 50% of the wine.

Bottling: without fining or filtration.

Tasting:
The Maghani wine is a wine for aging (20 years?) powerful with fine tannins.
In its youth, its palate is focused on red fruits, chocolate, and peony, evolving later into more complex notes of Morello cherry, spices, and blond tobacco.

Food and wine pairings:
To be enjoyed with game, woodcock, roasted geese with spices and candied fruits.
