Crafted from vines planted in the communes of St-Cyr-en-Bourg and Montsoreau, the 2021 Montée des Roches exhales a deep, floral bouquet of dark blue berries, violet, iris and licorice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and powdery tannins that segue into firm, structuring tannins and a carnal aftertaste, a sign of Brettanomyces.
