Guide Bettane + Desseauve, 96/100. Sandy limestone and clay are the ingredients of this great terroir of Saint-Cyr in Bourg: this results in a subtle and enveloping wine with a velvety and fresh tannin of great delicacy. 

Guide RVF des Meilleurs Vins de France 2024 (August 2023), 91/100. "It expresses itself in a more demonstrative style than Clos Tue Loup. A well-ripened expression of fruit highlighted by its aging in barrels, a savory and broad balance, with well-stylized tannins. A "champigny" more wintery than spring-like."

Tasting: A powerful and elegant wine that gains complexity over time. Beautifully oaked, the nose reveals notes of licorice and ripe fruits. The attack is clear, enhanced by spicy notes.

Pairings: Wild boar with pears and cranberry sauce, deer shepherd's pie, croustini with Cabécou and sour cherries.

Serving: 16°C. Decant for 1 hour and 30 minutes
