At Clos Marie, Les Glorieuses is the micro-cuvée "de garage" as one would say in Bordeaux. It is only produced in vintages that deserve it. It is also and above all a demonstration that it is possible to create a very great wine for long aging (20 years?) in the Pic Saint-Loup appellation!

Clos Marie "Les Glorieuses" 2022

Grapes: 50% grenache (40 years), 50% syrah (20 years)

Yields: 30hl / ha

Terroir: Quaternary soil, alluvial cone of clay-limestone from the Piedmont

Serving: decant for at least 2 hours before, between 16 and 18°C

Ageing potential: 5 to 15 years, note this cuvée tends to close up for 3-5 years after bottling, only to then explode.

Food pairing: Sliced duck fillet on a sauté of trompettes de la mort
