RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2026 (Sept. 2025): 95/100. Les Glorieuses, a blend of old vines, currently distills the generous soul of great Languedoc reds, still too marked by the scents of garrigue, which signify the youth of this great wine for aging.

Grapes: 50% grenache (40 years), 50% syrah (20 years)

Yields: 30hl / ha

Terroir: Quaternary soil, alluvial cone of clay-limestone from the Piedmont

Serving: decant at least 2 hours before, between 16 and 18°C

Aging: 5 to 15 years, note this cuvée tends to close up for 3-5 years after bottling, only to explode afterwards.
