Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, avril 2015) : 93-95+/100. One of the greatest wines coming out of the Pic Saint Loup region is Christophe's Les Glorieuses cuvee, which is a co-fermented blend of Grenache and Syrah raised in barrel. The 2013 Coteaux du Languedoc Pic St Loup Les Glorieuses is straight up spectacular and yields awesome notes of cassis and black raspberry fruits, crushed rocks, violets and spring flowers. It gains additional meatiness with air and is full-bodied, elegant and concentrated on the palate, with high, yet perfectly ripe tannin. Put this beauty in a blind lineup of Cote Rotie and see how it does. It needs 2-4 years in the cellar but will have 15 years or more of overall longevity.
