Based on the 2014 vintage, supplemented by some 30% of reserve wines, Billecart's newly released NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru offers up a classic bouquet of freshly baked bread, crisp orchard fruit, citrus oil and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive, with an elegantly fleshy core of fruit, racy acids and a pinpoint mousse, it's as bright and precise as ever. Drink date 2020-2035.

Based on the 2013 vintage, supplemented by some 30% of reserve wines, Billecart's latest NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru wafts from the glass with aromas of warm bread, citrus oil, crisp green apple, white flowers and crushed chalk. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and precise, with a pretty core of fruit, fine-boned structure and a nicely defined finish. Drink date: 2019 - 2033.

Finesse and elegance:

This cuvée is 100% Chardonnay made from the five Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Oger. Its composition, resulting from the blending of two years, reveals all the specifics of Chardonnay.

In the eye: the fine mousse with delicate bubbles elegantly accompanies the bright golden reflections of the robe.

On the nose: this cuvée surprises with a very pure intensity of dried fruit aromas (almond, fresh hazelnut), mingled with those of white-fleshed fruits.

On the palate: the creamy sensation of a finely chiseled bubble combined with brioche and mineral nuances. Persistent finish, with a fresh and elegant smoothness.

Tasting: this grand bottle pairs perfectly with caviar or fine oysters, as well as grilled fish or seafood.
