Viallière 2017 :
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, mai 2021) : 96/100.
Although the bouquet of the 2017 Cote Rotie La Vialliere seemed a bit reserved compared to my recollection of it prior to bottling, this medium to full-bodied effort remains awfully impressive overall. Hints of cedar frame, blackberries and spice are on the nose, while the wine is concentrated and expansive on the palate, with a rich, velvety feel and a long, mouthwatering finishDrink date 2023-2040.

Montmain 2017 :

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, mai 2021) : 96/100.
The completely undestemmed 2017 Côte Rôtie Montmain smells obviously stemmy—but in a good, funky way, with hints of green tea and herbs entwined among violets, mulberries and blueberries. Those tannins have brought something extra to the mouthfeel of this medium to full-bodied effort as well, as it's supple and rich, dense without any sense of heaviness. Ripe tannins leave a plush impression on the mocha-tinged finish. Complex and complete, this is a beauty for drinking over the next two decades. Drink date 2022-2040.

Bertholon 2017 :
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, mai 2021) : 92+/100.
Scents of crushed stone accent purple raspberries on the nose of the 2017 Côte Rôtie Bertholon. It's a chunky, muscular wine, medium to full-bodied, with a rich, velvety feel and sturdy tannins that linger on the finish. Not the most finesse-filled or complex bottling, it's still impressive and may be even better with time in the cellar. Drink date 2025-2040.

Côte Bodin 2017 :
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, mai 2021) : 95/100.
Tendrils of hickory smoke wrap around whiffs of violets on the nose of the 2017 Cote Rotie Cote Bodin. It's an exquisite, charming nose backed by red berries and subtle herbal elements. Only medium-bodied, it's silky and almost delicate on the palate, yet there's also a palpable sense of underlying tensile strength, ample concentration and a lingering, perfumed finish. Drink date 2022-2035.

Le Champon 2017 :
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, mai 2021) : 91-94/100.
Hints of vanilla appear on the nose of the 2017 Cote Rotie le Champon. It offers streamlined red fruit, a medium to full-bodied palate and a long, lush, creamy finish. It should be drinkable relatively young and contribute texturally to the Reserve blend. Drink date 2020-2035.
