Tasting notes: The color is dark garnet. A nose of sweet spices (paprika), menthol, and garrigue. A beautiful, ample, and structured attack. The palate is dense without aggression. The finish is long. This elegant wine can accompany a roast beef and tuna with wine sauce.

Terroir: southern area of Pic St Loup

Soils: limestone, conglomerates of rolled pebbles, northwest slopes, sunset.

Climate: great thermal amplitude, with cool nights.

Grapes: syrah (70%), grenache noir (30%)

Vine age: between 30 and 50 years

Density: 5000 to 6200 vines/ha.

Yield: 25 hl/ha.

Vintage: Exceptional vintage of balance and optimum ripeness promising beautiful aging.

Vinification:
Traditional vinification with punching down and gentle extraction. Aging for one year in new barrels (30%) and 2 or 3 wines, mainly Atelier Centre France steamed.

Alcohol content: 14.5 %

Production volume: 9,000 bottles and 300 magnums
