From 45- to 50-year-old vines on loess and granite soils in the northern portion of the appellation, the 2020 Crozes Hermitage Cap Nord offers up enthralling scents of crushed stone and cassis. Medium to full-bodied, supple and silky, it shows ample ripeness allied to a touch of granite-like reserve and a wonderful overall sense of balance. Drink date 2022-2030.
