The 2021 Morgon Montpelain opens in the glass with a delicately spicy bouquet of red berries, plums and vine smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate framed by fine, powdery tannins that assert themselves with gentle grip on the finish. This is always one of the more classically structured wines in the range, and that's true even in this open, giving vintage. Drink 2022-2031.
