Domaine Les Aurelles Languedoc Pézenas Solen red 2016

Bettane + Desseauve Guide 2022 : 17/20. Tasted in tanks, it will only be bottled in autumn 2020. Silky, full-bodied, the texture has an additional dimension compared to 2015 despite the summer drought that does not show through. Archetype of the finesse of Languedoc.

All our wines are guaranteed to be completely free of any traces of pesticides, herbicides, and phthalates. Analyses conducted by the Excell Laboratory in Bordeaux, at the microgram level.

Sulfite content well below the biodynamic threshold.

Terroir: on slopes, ancient sandy gravel terraces of Villafranchian (gravel soils 10 to 15 m deep) and basalt scree.

Appellation: AOC Pézenas Languedoc

Grape Varieties: 60% Carignan, 40% Grenache

Harvest: manual, sorting on the vine, yield of about 20hl/ha,

Aging: in tanks, bottled after 48 months

Production: between 10,000 and 13,000 bottles

Sulfites: content below the biodynamic threshold

Analyses: certified free of any traces of pesticide and herbicide

Cellaring: about 10 years minimum
