Coming from Dijon, this is where the Côte de Beaune begins. Ladoix shares with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand the honor of producing the famous wines from the Corton hillside. The controlled designation of origin was established in 1937.

Grape variety: 100% Pinot noir

Soil typicity: Soils with a strong limestone dominance

Exposure: South

Surface in production: 79 ares 48

Planting date: 1924 (soon to be centenarians!), 1955 and 1979

Average production: 40 Hl /Hectare or 4250 bottles

Vinification and Aging: Fermentation lasts for 20 days with cold maceration at the beginning. Punch downs during the fermentation phase. Aging is done entirely in oak barrels, of which 20% are new barrels for 18 months. Bottling is done by us after a light filtration if necessary.

Wine characteristics: This is a wine that can be described as harmonious. The color is ruby. The nose is very expressive with notes of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry) mingled with wood aromas. The palate is structured with very fine and ripe tannins.

Serving temperature: 15 to 16°C
