RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2024  (august 2023): 89/100. "Amalgame is a red wine that is light and fruity, with a subtle tannin contribution and a hint of rose."

WARNING, unfiltered wine, quite a bit of sediment, with no impact on the taste of the wine.

Amalgame... a clever blend of white and black, grenache gris and noir, to which this year, a touch of picpoul noir, terret noir, and counoise is added... a lot of freshness and fruit; to be served slightly chilled as an aperitif, or with white meats or fish.

Appellation: Aude IGP red

Grape variety: Grenache noir 40% Grenache gris 30% Picpoul noir 10% Counoise 10% and Terret noir 10%

Vine age: Grenache noir 30 years, Grenache gris 10 years, Picpoul, Counoise, and Terret 6 years.
