RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2024 (Sept 2023) : 95/100. In 2022, muscat joins the blend of the white, with acidity transforming into an easy, crisp bitterness on the finish, enhancing the warm depth of the mid-palate. Time will be the best ally of this opus from the domaine.

THE VINTAGE
A very dry year with only 115 mm between January and the end of August.

LOCATION
North of the Alpilles

TERROIR
Limestone and clay soil, very stony: Hauterivien and Barrémien, secondary era, lower cretaceous, less than 130 million years.

VINIFICATION
Aging grape varieties separately in barrels for 12 months, without racking.
Settling and fining with clay.
Unfiltered wine

GRAPE VARIETIES
Marsanne 66%, Roussanne 10%, Chardonnay 8%, Grenache blanc 9%, Clairette 6%, Muscat blanc à petits grains 1%.

SERVICE
Decant half an hour before tasting, serve at 15°C .
