Robert Parker's Wine Advocate ( William Kelley, Jan. 2022) : 94-96/100. The 2020 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes is striking, soaring from the glass with aromas of peonies, rose petals, deep fruit tones, raw cocoa, exotic spices and loamy soil. Full-bodied, layered and velvety, it's concentrated and sapid, with a seamless core of fruit, lively acids and a long, perfumed finish. This is a worthy follow-up to the superb 2019 rendition.
