Soils: Stony gravel over clay-siliceous subsoil at the foot of the Sonnay hillside.

Grapes: Cabernet Franc.

Vines: The oldest parcel of the domaine (50-year-old vines).

Vinification/Aging: Manual harvest. Fermentation in cement tanks for 15 to 25 days. Aging for 12 months in barrels aged 3 to 5 years.

Character: "Les Grézeaux" is a concentrated wine with a dense yet silky texture, influenced by the gravel. It can age for 10 years or much longer in great vintages.
