Rare bottle. The Soulas brothers learned everything from Laurent Vaillé of Grange des Pères, and they now honor his memory by implementing his teachings. We did not have the opportunity to taste one of these too rare bottles from the 2023 vintage, but the echoes from trustworthy individuals have convinced us to offer them to you "blind".

La Bergerie de l'Arcade red 2023 MAGNUM:

La Revue du Vin de France (Karine Valentin, May 2026): 95/100. Pascal Soulas learned about viticulture with Laurent Vaillé from La Grange des Pères. He then took over initially one and a half hectares from his grandfather and later parcels of old vines in the Aniane area. Hidden behind the magnificent large trees of the family estate, he produces from low-growing goblet-trained vines a red with a caressing texture, an open bouquet, and a free spirit, infused with sincere purity.

Technical sheet written by the domaine:

Grapes: 35% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, and 5% Carignan

Vinification: Each grape variety and each parcel are vinified separately

Aging: 24 months in barrel before being blended for 4 to 5 months prior to bottling.
