Robert Parker's Wine Advocate ( William Kelley - sept. 2018) : 96/100. The 2015 Fleurie from Yvon Métras is extraordinary, unfurling in the glass with a stunning bouquet of ripe cherries, raspberries, smoked meats, tar and potpourri, with complementary notes of dark chocolate emerging with air. On the palate, the wine is rich, full-bodied and layered, with considerable depth and concentration, but equally impressive energy and tang despite its unusually rich, powerful format this year. It's a thrilling Fleurie that handles this atypically warm, dry vintage very well. If stored in perfect conditions, it may well enjoy a long life. Drink date 2018-2030
