Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Neil Martin, août 2017) : 90/100. The 2016 Brouilly la Croix des Rameaux offers a mixture of red and black fruit, more pastille-like than the Vieilles Vignes, an attractive Earl Grey and ash-like scent emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with sappy red fruit. It is more backward than the Vieilles Vignes, yet it shows good depth toward the finish that is nicely detailed, delivering a light oyster shell, almost citric note on the aftertaste. Drink 2019-2027.
