Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, août 2019) : 93/100. Aromas of spicy cassis and blackberries mingle with scents of smoked meats and cracked black pepper to introduce the 2018 Morgon Côte du Py, a medium to full-bodied, layered and broad-shouldered wine with a fleshy core of juicy fruit, excellent depth and dimensions, and a long, nicely defined finish. There's plenty of fine-grained tannin here, but it's hidden to such an extent that this will make for more accessible early drinking than the firmer 2017 rendition. Drink 2020-2035.
