Clos du Mont-Olivet Chateauneuf-du-Pape "Le Clos" red 2008
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (oct. 2010): 88/100. The 2008 Chateauneuf du Pape performed much better than my initial rating last year showed. It is actually one of the better wines of the vintage. It has loads of earth, spice, and garrigue, very up-front appeal with its lavender, kirsch and raspberry notes, medium body, and silky tannins. It is delicious, mouthfilling, and an undeniable success for the vintage. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. (2014 - 2017).
