Still in barrel at the time of this tasting, the 2012 Vin de Pays du Gard is similarly styled, with pretty flowers, leather, herbs and darker-styled fruit. Easy-going, medium-bodied and forward on the palate, it will be a charming effort to drink in its first 3-4 years of life.
