Jancis Robinsons : 16/20. Juicy red-plum and dark-cherry fruits, the tannins a little dusty, like the tea-leaf dust left at the bottom of the canister, and the fine, fine motes in the jars that held the vanilla pods, the star anise, the allspice berries. Gentle but with a touch of black-olive bitterness and sweet orange tang.
