Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Stephan Reinhardt, Fev. 2017) : 94/100. The 2014 Pinot Gris Grand Cru Sommerberg Wiptal (Sommerberg W in Europe) comes form a very steep and stony, south/southeast-facing parcel. The wine opens with a very delicate and ripe Pinot bouquet and indicates a remarkable finesse. It is round and delicate on the palate and reveals a very fine acidity and salinity (like the Eckberg Riesling); but it also has a certain sweetness that is even more prominent than in the Brand. This is a very elegant and finessed Pinot with a very distinguished expression. Gorgeous, but keep it! Drink 2025 - 2040.
