Description

Robert Parker's Wine advocate - David Schildknecht (Aout 2014) : 92/100. Representing the first site-specific bottling from this cru of which they acquired a share in 2007, the Boxlers' 2011 Gewurztraminer Heimbourg Selection de Grains Nobles evokes a blend of lychee with honey, nougat and caramel in an overtly confectionary but impressively pure, lusciously juicy, satin-textured and sustained performance. Its saline edge stimulates the salivary glands and hence the desire for a next sip. I would anticipate delightful return visits through at least 2025. Drink : 2014 - 2025.
