Description


Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Stephan Reinhardt, oct. 2016) : The 2013 Chinon Le Clos Guillot is intense and fruity on the nose and reveals a certain sweetness along with flinty flavors. Light in alcohol (11.5%) but full in taste, this is a tension-filled Cabernet Franc with the acidity of a white wine. There is firm grip in the finish and although this is a robust Chinon, it has an authentic character. Not everybody's darling, but mine.
