More focused, pure and elegant than the base cuvée, the 2014 Côte Rôtie Viallière sports a deep ruby/purple-tinged color and fabulous notes of ripe currants, black olives, beef blood and spring flowers. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, balanced and elegant, it's a gorgeous wine that has both elegance and richness. Made from 100% Syrah aged 20 months in new demi-muids, it will have two decades of overall longevity. Drink 2016-2036.
