Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, Nov. 2017) : 92-94/100. Tasted from foudre, the big boy of the estate still has a while to spend in oak before it's ready to be bottled, but the 2016 Cairanne Haut Coustias should prove to be a winner. It shows huge fruit and spice notes of raspberries, orange zest, clove and allspice; a rich, layered texture; and a long, compelling finish. A classic in the making.
