Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, mars 2016) : The 2013 Cairanne les Douyes is a beauty, especially in the vintage. Like the Reserve des Seigneurs, it shows plenty of Syrah character in its violets, pepper, smoked meat and black raspberry-scented bouquet. This gives way to a medium-bodied, elegant and lively red that has fine tannin, good acidity and a clean finish. I like the concentrations here, as well as its purity of fruit. Drink it anytime over the coming 5-7 years.
