The 2019 Sancerre Le Paradis Rouge is deep, intense, coolish and spicy on the concentrated nose that exhibits ripe and open cherry fruit along with quite oxidative notes. Round and smooth on the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense and elegant, mineral-vital and tensioned Pinot Noir with fine tannins and a finish that reveals a ripe, concentrated and well-structured red for immediate pleasure. 13% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in December 2021.
