Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, june 2020) : 87/100. Pithon's 2018 Cotes du Roussillon Blanc Lais is a blend of 60% Macabeu and 20% Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris, aged in foudres. It's light to medium-bodied, with a saline-quinine quality to its notes of lime, underripe pear and green apple. Brisk and refreshing, it would work best as an apéritif or shellfish accompaniment. Drink date : 2020-2021
