Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, avril 2014):The top wine of the estate, the 2011 Pic Saint Loup Guilhem Gaucelm checks in as a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that comes mostly from pebbly soils. Aged a full 26 months in 50% new foudre, it offers up loads of pepper, licorice, leather and black raspberry to go with a polished, if not slightly modern profile. Juicy, forward and delicious, it should drink nicely on release and evolve gracefully for upwards of a decade.
