Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, aôut 2018) : 93-95/100. The 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is very promising, and by some margin the finest of Droin's 2017s, wafting from the glass with aromas of Meyer lemon, beeswax and almond paste, gently framed by toasty new oak. On the palate, it's full-bodied, concentrated and dense, with considerable dimension and power, underpinned by bright acids. Rich, even massive in profile, it's also controlled and structurally reserved.
