Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Neal Martin, dec 2016): 89-91/100. The 2015 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jean has a crisp, honeysuckle and jasmine-scented bouquet that has better delineation than the Maltroie. The palate is well balanced with moderate weight in the mouth. The acidity is nicely poised with stem ginger notes surfacing towards the finish. There is a sense of "correctness" here, but there is nothing wrong with that at this early stage. Drink date 2018-2027
