Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, aôut 2019) : 92/100. The 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé Clos Varambon wafts from the glass with a pretty bouquet of waxy citrus rind, fresh bread, Anjou pear and dried white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, muscular and fleshy, with a textural and enveloping profile, lively acids and excellent concentration. This cuvée is produced from the vines within the Clos that were planted after 1945; it's the château's largest bottling. Drink date 2019-2033.
