Mas Champart Saint-Chinian "Clos de La Simonette" red 2008
Robert Parker's Wine advocate (David Schildknecht - mai 2011) : 92/100. Its majority share of Mourvedre not harvested until early October, the deeply-colored Mas Champart 2008 Saint-Chinian Clos de la Simonette combines rich plum and dark cherry with salted red meat juices, accompanied by scintillating spice and herbal pungency of cinnamon, nutmeg, rosemary, and bay leaf. Positive bitterness of plum pit and espresso help extent a lusciously lingering finish. This seductively plush but finely tannic effort should be worth following for at least half a dozen years, although I see no good reason to defer the pleasure of its company.
