Les Terrasses de l'Arago, vallée de Vingrau, Roussillon

The red wines, powerful and generous, are made from Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan grapes. The white, fresh and elegant wines are made from Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne. 

In 1980, Roger Mangin settled down and created his wine estate called "Les Terrasses de l'Arago". Neighboring those of Clos des Fees, the vines are located in the Vingrau valley, between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. The 35 hectare vineyard is today managed by Thomas Mangin, 3rd generation hyper dynamic and resolutely focused on quality.

For the record, the name of the estate is a reference to the "Caune de l'Arago" cave. It is in this prehistoric cave that the bones of a 450,000-year-old Paleolithic man, the oldest human fossil found in France, were found.

Passionate wines, loyal to Roussillon terroir, which showcase local grape varieties.
